Peptide Synthesis
Solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS) assembles the sequence — laboratory automated synthesizers for research, or industrial single-channel reactors (10 L–5000 L) with a cleavage unit for GMP manufacturing.
Crude Recovery
The crude peptide is cleaved from the resin and recovered, ready for downstream purification.
Preparative Purification
Preparative and semi-preparative HPLC — or continuous dual-column / SMB chromatography for difficult separations — refines the target to high purity with high recovery.
Columns & Media

Peptide Synthesizer (Automated SPPS)
Mechotech designs and manufactures automated solid-phase peptide synthesizers (SPPS) that build peptide chains one residue at a time on an insoluble resin support, automating the repetitive coupling, deprotection and wash cycles that define peptide chemistry. The system anchors the first amino acid to the resin and then adds each subsequent residue under programmed control, so the operator defines the sequence and the instrument executes it reproducibly from end to end. A multi-channel architecture runs several reaction vessels in parallel and asynchronously, letting a laboratory synthesize a panel of different sequences in a single unattended run. Industrial Rotary Evaporator
Mechotech manufactures industrial, large-capacity rotary evaporators for gentle solvent removal and concentration in peptide, pharmaceutical and natural-product processing. A rotating evaporation flask spreads the liquid into a thin, constantly renewed film over a heated bath, so solvent evaporates quickly at a mild temperature under vacuum and is recovered by an efficient condenser. Wetted parts are built in borosilicate glass and PTFE to stand up to aggressive and corrosive solvents, and evaporation flasks are offered in 50 L and 100 L sizes for pilot and production duty. Units run under vacuum or at atmospheric pressure and can be supplied EX-proof and in GMP or non-GMP configurations.

Acetonitrile Recovery System
Mechotech designs and manufactures acetonitrile recovery systems that reclaim spent acetonitrile — and other process solvents — from peptide and pharmaceutical purification streams, returning them to high-purity, reusable grade. In preparative HPLC and peptide purification the mobile phase consumes large volumes of acetonitrile, and the used solvent is otherwise an expensive waste stream; a Mechotech recovery system distils and dehydrates that spent acetonitrile back to a low-UV-absorbance quality suitable for reuse in the same demanding applications. Engineered as an energy-efficient, closed-loop plant with capacities from 300 L/day to 10000 L/day, it distils the collected mobile phase, removes water and impurities, and delivers recovered solvent that meets tight UV-transmittance targets.
