A resin adsorption and desorption system works by loading clarified feed onto a packed resin column where target molecules or impurities adsorb onto the resin by hydrophobic interaction, ion exchange or size selectivity, after which a change in solvent, pH or ionic strength desorbs the bound species as a concentrated, purified eluate. This delivers clarity, high purity, effective decolorization, strong recovery, and significant concentration of dilute actives. Product-contact parts are built in SS 304 or SS 316L with hygienic, GMP-oriented design and sanitary flow paths. Systems include PLC-based automation sequencing loading, washing, elution and regeneration, and column volume, resin type and capacity are configured to the client's requirement rather than a fixed model.

Manufacturing Process
Resin Conditioning
The packed resin bed is pretreated and equilibrated to the correct pH and ionic state so it is ready to bind the target species selectively.
Feed Loading and Adsorption
Clarified extract is passed through the column and target actives or impurities adsorb onto the resin by their specific binding mechanism.
Washing
A wash step displaces loosely held impurities and non-target solutes while the target species remain bound to the resin.
Desorption / Elution
A change in solvent, pH or ionic strength releases the bound species as a concentrated, purified eluate collected for downstream processing.
Fraction Collection
Eluate is collected in cuts so the enriched, high-purity target fraction is separated from weaker leading and trailing portions.
Resin Regeneration
