Synthesiser

Synthesiser
The Mechotech Synthesiser is an integrated reaction system: a reaction vessel connected to its feed tank, condenser and receiver on one skid, so that reaction, condensing, phase return or collection, and receiver management run in one connected train. It is a chemical-synthesis skid, not a peptide synthesiser; Mechotech’s peptide line is on separate pages. Mechotech’s process graphic describes reactor charging and reaction, vapour routing to the condenser, condensing with phase return or collection, vacuum operation where fitted, receiver management, recipe-driven step transitions, product discharge and system-wide CIP. The unit is designed around the client’s reaction and target output, then fabricated, installed and commissioned by Mechotech as a single scope.
The Synthesiser is built in SS 316L (or a process-appropriate grade) as a reaction vessel integrated with its feed tank, condenser and receiver, with electropolished product-contact surfaces and integrated instrumentation so the complete system can be cleaned in place between batches and operated under PLC-based control. Mechotech’s illustration shows a control panel offering automated operation, precision process control, temperature and pressure monitoring, data logging and reports, and CIP / SIP readiness. Capacity is configured to the customer’s requirement, from pilot-scale systems for process validation to larger commercial installations with modular expansion, and every unit is delivered with full documentation to support GMP qualification.

Manufacturing Process
Reactor Charging & Reaction
Raw materials are charged into the reactor from the feed tank and the reaction is carried out as per recipe.
Vapour Routing to Condenser
Reaction vapours are routed from the reactor to the condenser.
Condensing & Phase Return or Collection
Vapours are condensed and returned to the process or collected, as the requirement dictates.
Vacuum Operation (Where Fitted)
Vacuum is applied, where the system is fitted with it, to support the reaction process.
Receiver Management
Receivers are managed for collection, return or further processing.
Recipe-Driven Step Transitions
Process steps are automatically transitioned as per the defined recipe.
Product Discharge
The final product is discharged from the reactor to the designated receiver or storage.
System-Wide CIP
Clean-in-place is performed for the entire system after completion of the process.

Key Features
Integrated Reactor, Condenser and Receiver
The reaction vessel, feed tank, condenser and receiver are one connected skid, so reaction and distillation steps run in one system.
Phase Return or Collection
Condensate can be returned to the batch or collected in the receiver, as the recipe requires.
Recipe-Driven Operation
Process steps transition automatically as per the defined recipe, with automated operation and precision process control on the panel.
Monitoring and Records
Temperature and pressure are monitored, with data logging and reports offered on the panel.
System-Wide CIP
The whole system is cleaned in place after the process, and CIP / SIP readiness is listed on the control panel.
Scalable Capacity
The synthesiser is configured to requirement from pilot scale upward, with modular expansion.
