Process route: Raw material preparation, extraction, filtration and membrane clarification, concentration and solvent recovery, standardisation, drying.
Our catalog lists hibiscus extraction equipment as complete hibiscus flower extraction plants for pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food and beverage, cosmetic and ayurvedic uses. Hibiscus is milled, extracted, filtered, concentrated with solvent recovery, standardised and dried to an extract.
Hibiscus flower
Hibiscus flower extraction plant
Milled hibiscus flower is extracted with food-grade alcohol or aqueous solvent in closed jacketed SS 316L extractors, clarified through a filter press and polish filters, and concentrated in a falling-film or vacuum evaporator with more than 95% solvent recovery.
Process route: Raw material preparation, extraction, filtration, concentration and solvent recovery, standardisation, spray or vacuum drying of the extract, QC.
A herbal extraction plant for Hibiscus Liquid (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis), standardised to HCA, with the same extraction, filtration, concentration and drying route and assay at batch release.
Process route: Raw material preparation, extraction, filtration, concentration and solvent recovery, standardisation to HCA, spray or vacuum drying, QC.
A natural-colour extraction plant for dark red hibiscus and day lily flowers, built on the same milling, solvent extraction, filtration and concentration route, for specification-grade extract.
Scope: these plants make a hibiscus extract. The drying step dries the finished extract. Raw-flower drying, sorting and powder-milling lines are not listed in our catalog.
Process Equipment, CO₂ Extraction and Extract Drying
Equipment to complete or upgrade an extraction line, solvent-free CO₂ extraction for premium extracts, and spray drying of extract concentrates to powder.

FAQ
Questions About Plants for Ghana
What do I need to share to get a technical proposal for a plant in Ghana?
Tell us your raw material, the product you want to make and its specification, the daily capacity you need, the utilities available at your site and where in Ghana the plant will be built. Only name, email, phone and industry are mandatory on the form, and the engineering team refines the rest with you.
Does Mechotech manufacture extraction plants for Ghana?
Yes. Mechotech designs and manufactures turnkey extraction and distillation plants at its Hyderabad, India works and supplies them to customers abroad. For Ghana, the proposal sets out the process route, equipment and the delivery scope for your site.
Do you supply herbal and botanical extraction plants for medicinal plants?
Yes. Our herbal extraction plants are built for medicinal and traditional herbs and botanical raw materials: milling, solvent extraction, filtration, concentration with closed-loop solvent recovery, standardisation and drying of the extract, in GMP-compliant SS 316L. Tell us your plant material and target extract and we confirm the route.
Can you provide essential oil and steam distillation units?
Yes. Our essential oil extraction machines are steam, hydro, vacuum and pressure distillation units, plus cold-press extractors for oil-rich feedstock. Steam distillation recovers the volatile oil with oil-water separation and hydrosol recovery. Citronella and ylang ylang plants are listed as examples; send your raw material for other oils.
Should I choose a ginger oleoresin plant, a ginger extract plant or a ginger oil plant?
The oleoresin plant (cleaning and milling, solvent extraction, concentration, solvent and aroma recovery, standardisation) produces ginger oleoresin. The ginger extract plant produces a gingerol-standardised extract from 2.5% up to 60% total gingerols by HPLC. Ginger oil is made in a distillation plant or a CO₂ extraction plant. Tell us your target product and we confirm the route.
Do you supply turmeric oleoresin and curcumin extraction plants?
Yes. The curcumin extraction plant processes turmeric rhizome into a curcuminoid extract standardised up to 95% by HPLC. Turmeric oleoresin has its own spice oleoresin plant route, and turmeric oil plants are listed for distillation and CO₂ extraction. A 200 kg/day turmeric-input pilot plant is described on the curcumin product page.
Can you provide hibiscus extraction equipment?
For hibiscus extraction, yes. Our hibiscus flower extraction plants mill, extract (alcohol or aqueous solvent), filter, concentrate with solvent recovery, standardise and then spray- or vacuum-dry the extract. The catalog lists Hibiscus Flowers, Hibiscus Liquid (Hibiscus rosa-sinensis, HCA) and dark red hibiscus. Raw-flower drying and powder-milling lines are not listed; send your hibiscus variety and target extract and we confirm the route.
Can the plant deliver the extract as a powder?
Mechotech also supplies a spray dryer, which converts botanical and herbal extract concentrates into dry powder in one continuous pass. Vacuum and freeze-drying options are listed on the drying equipment page.
Which raw materials can your plants process?
This page covers ginger (oleoresin, gingerol extract and oil), turmeric and curcumin, moringa leaf, hibiscus flower extraction, and citronella and ylang ylang essential oils, plus general herbal, botanical and solvent extraction. For other materials, send the details and we confirm process suitability before quoting.
Do you supply general agro or food processing plants?
Our scope is extraction, distillation and the supporting evaporation and drying equipment. Complete agro or food processing lines, such as fruit juice, shea, palm, cocoa, cashew or cassava processing, are not listed in our catalog. For an ingredient-extraction project, send the raw material, target product and capacity and we confirm process suitability before quoting.
