Can a protein plant produce an isolate or a hydrolysate?
Yes. A protein plant can be configured for a protein concentrate, an isolate (protein extraction followed by membrane purification) or a hydrolysate (enzymatic hydrolysis of an isolate or concentrate to produce peptides). The product and its target specification are decided at project definition and confirmed through process development and pilot validation.
