Cinnamon & star anise

Cinnamon and Star Anise Extraction Plants for Vietnam

Cinnamon can be processed into several products, each on its own route: bark oil and leaf oil by distillation, a cassia oleoresin by solvent extraction, a polyphenol extract, or a CO2 oil. Cassia is a different raw material from true cinnamon, so the catalog keeps them apart. Mechotech lists plant pages for each route.

Star anise is listed as a seed distillation plant for its oil. Tell us the spice, the product you want and the throughput, and we will explain the route and standardisation.

  • Cinnamon bark and leaf oil, cassia oleoresin and extract routes
  • Star anise seed oil distillation plant page
  • CO2 oil route for premium extracts
Essential oil distillation

Essential Oil Distillation Plants for Vietnam

Mechotech lists steam, hydro, vacuum and pressure distillation plants, with condensation, Florentine oil-water separation and hydrosol recovery. A cinnamon essential oil distillation case study shows how a plant for bark or leaf is laid out.

Bark, leaf and seed behave differently in a still, so the material you distil decides the plant. Send the raw material, the oil you target and the throughput.

  • Cinnamon bark and leaf oil plant pages and a case study
  • Spice, seed and leaf plant families
  • Hydrosol recovery as a co-product
Dehydration dryers

Fruit and Vegetable Dehydration Dryers for Vietnam

Mechotech lists vacuum tray, fluidised-bed, vacuum paddle, freeze and spray dryers. Which is right depends on whether you dry pieces, granules, pastes or liquids, and the heat sensitivity of the fruit or vegetable.

A complete raw-produce dehydration line is not a listed standard product and is scoped per project from your crop, final moisture and capacity, sized from a mass balance.

  • Five dryer types listed for different product forms
  • Mass-balance sizing from fresh input to finished yield
  • Drying trial recommended before sizing

Scope note: We list spray, vacuum and other dryers, mainly for extracts, concentrates and process materials. A complete raw-produce dehydration line is scoped per project after engineering review.

FAQ

Questions About Plants for Vietnam

Does Mechotech supply cinnamon extraction plants for Vietnam?

Yes. The catalog lists routes for cinnamon bark and leaf oil, cassia oleoresin, a cinnamon bark polyphenol extract and CO2 oil, each as its own plant page. Cassia is a different raw material from true cinnamon, so tell us which you process.

Do you supply bark peeling or quill-making equipment?

No. Cinnamon bark preparation equipment such as peeling and quill making is not in our catalog. Our plants start from prepared raw material.

Can you process star anise?

A star anise seed oil distillation plant page is listed. For other star anise products, send your target and we confirm the route.

How are plants supplied to Vietnam?

Plants are built at our Hyderabad, India works and supplied with export documentation. Shipping, installation and commissioning scope for your site is agreed in the proposal.
