Sugar Wax

Sugar Wax
Purity Levels
90% Polyphenols
Mechotech designs and manufactures turnkey herbal extraction plants for Sugar Wax, listed in the product tree with a 90% polyphenol figure (the product tree spells it “Polipenolles”). Mechotech’s legacy page for the Sugar Wax Extract Plant describes extracting the natural waxes of sugarcane or sugar beet for natural cosmetic formulations, and its page graphic describes wax from sugarcane. A wax is a lipid material and the catalogue figure names polyphenols, and no source explains the two together, so the target fraction, the assay method and the feed are confirmed with the client. The Sureka Life Sciences catalogue has no matching entry.
Mechotech’s Sugar Wax plant is configured around the specific chemistry and processing requirements of the raw material. Built in SS 316L with integrated solvent recovery, automation and full documentation, each plant is delivered as a commissioned turnkey system. The figure 90% polyphenols is the catalogue standardisation; the specification actually targeted, the assay method and the feed form are set during process development and pilot validation.

Capacity is configured to raw-material supply, confirmed buyer volume and investment timeline; a pilot plant is recommended to validate parameters before scaling.
Manufacturing Process
Raw Material Preparation
The sugarcane or sugar beet wax-bearing material is authenticated, cleaned, tested for moisture and milled or conditioned to a form that gives good solvent contact; the exact material and form are confirmed with the client and set during process development.
Extraction
The prepared Sugar Wax raw material is extracted with food-grade solvent (alcohol / aqueous) in closed jacketed SS 316L extractors under controlled temperature and over multiple cycles to recover the target constituents. The solvent ratio and conditions are set during process development.
Filtration
The extract (miscella) is clarified through a plate-and-frame filter press followed by cartridge polish filters.
Concentration & Solvent Recovery
The miscella is concentrated in a falling-film / vacuum evaporator, with solvent recovered through the condenser return system.
Standardisation
The concentrate is assayed and adjusted to the client’s target specification (catalogue figure: 90% polyphenols) before the final finishing step. The assay method and whether the product is a wax, a polyphenol fraction or both are agreed with the buyer.
Finishing & Quality Control
The standardised Sugar Wax extract is kept as a concentrate or spray- or vacuum-dried to the required form, then released after assay, residual-solvent, heavy-metal, microbial and moisture testing.

Key Features
SS 316L Construction
Electropolished SS 316L product-contact surfaces with CIP operation between batches.
Alcohol / Aqueous Solvent Extraction
Closed jacketed extractors run food-grade alcohol or aqueous solvent over multiple cycles to recover the target fraction.
Closed-Loop Solvent Recovery
Integrated condenser-return recovery reuses solvent between batches and reduces solvent loss.
Standardised to Specification
In-process and batch-release assay are used to check the finished extract against the agreed target specification.
Scalable Batch Capacity
Plants are configured to requirement from pilot scale upward, with modular expansion.
